When it comes to Goa, unmixed playlists are almost as listenable as DJ sets, so here&#8217;s a little sequence of the tracks I&#8217;ve been listening to by Romania&#8217;s E-Mantra. His melodies are always something special, and combined with the acid and generally dark atmosphere there&#8217;s plenty to inspire us in the freeform scene, I reckon. First up is an amazing slice of dark ambience called <em>White Lights<\/em>. I&#8217;m having trouble finding this tune, but it&#8217;ll be opening one of my sets if I ever do&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JOSSxxEP8bk\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" width=\"430\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Actually E-Mantra has just released a couple of excellent albums &#8211; <em>Visions From The Past <\/em>and <em>Astrograms<\/em>. Both are well worth picking up (if not quite matching the incredible <em>Arcana<\/em>), and are heavy on the ambient\/downtempo tunes, including <em>Secluded Trails<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/20zW8nU0tbQ\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" width=\"430\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Oh go on, let&#8217;s have another from <em>Visions From The Past<\/em> &#8211; this one is the fabulously-titled <em>Last Day of the Butterfly<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gDbXpue-Fis\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" width=\"430\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This next one is actually an Eleusyn remix of the <em>Arcana<\/em> tune, <em>Dansul Ielelor<\/em>, but it does a brilliant job of acid-ing up the original track. As with most E-Mantra, there are some amazing melodies near the end&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zFB5I9YrzLg\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" width=\"430\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Radiant Vision <\/em>might not be as complex as some of the others (it is a little older, after all), but it&#8217;s a very nice hypnotic-style tune.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/s5HSuAWmu-M\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" width=\"430\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Talking of acid, now it&#8217;s time for E-Mantra&#8217;s remix of the classic <em>Indian Attic<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LN0tMHrSRec\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" width=\"430\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This post could go on forever, but let&#8217;s finish with <em>Voyager II<\/em>, a great tune that goes completely mad about halfway through.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we&#8217;re in the middle of one of those quiet spells, how about another Chill Out Corner?
