Two mixes to post about tonight, the first of which is Gaiaforce’s new J-Core\/freeform set, Freeform Tanoshii<\/em>. A glance at the tracklist will show that this mix is heading deep into Hardcore Tano*C territory, with a Japan-only selection and some tunes that we don’t often (or ever, even) see on TYFTH<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Starting off with Eternal Cannon<\/em>, Gaia’s set manages to include tracks as varied as Tano*C anthem Moonlives, Tout est Bien <\/em>and Outer Space. <\/em>After a really impressive intro, some of the connections are more successful than others (inevitable really, with this much variety), but the lovely sequence of TeB, Alive in the Darkness <\/em>and Optical Force<\/em> features a really nice mix at the end. I might not be a huge fan of the Tano*C sound these days, but I enjoyed this a lot, and there’s plenty of potential for a series of ‘J-Core for a freeform audience’ sets. Gaia is definitely on the right track (and technically already very good), so hopefully it won’t be too long before the next installment.<\/p>\n
