Alek Szahala – Voices of Babylon by FINRG Recordings
Here’s an epic end-of-year update from FINRG, including Alek Szahala’s Voices of Babylon! It’s possible that I’ve played this tune at every event this year, but I’m nowhere near tired of it – Guld and KA-NA have also been dropping it every chance they get. As well as VoB, there’s my recent favourite The Most Masochist, plus Private Demon, Final Destination, Eewol’s newer tracks and more.
Also just uploaded is Sam One’s set from the Free of Form show on Christmas Eve – I wasn’t able to catch it live, so I’ll be checking this one out soon.
Voices of Babylon.
I’m speechless.
Amazing! That’s all I can say. :p
Speaking of which, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Matt England’s tunes – they are pretty good. D;
Sorry for spaming the website today but just wanted to add that theres a thread discussing unreleased tracks back at the finrg forum under the category Music Discussion. Someone posted a clip of an Alek production that must be a part of the same tune as the unknown one featured in the video of “Alek Szahala @Konemetsä 2009” that Plasmadancer posted about here a while back wich resulted in a lot of comments (you know the one at the 1:40ish mark into that video).
Even though the clip is of crap quality and only about one minute long, I can’t get enough of it. That track is mindblowing to say the least. I hope theres a better quality clip somewhere.
Not sure if it’s ok to post the link up here but I hope it’s alright and if not, that you are able to edit or delete my comment.

Again sorry for taking up so much space. :S

Re. Matt England’s tunes…me too! I used Consciousness (or the first half, anyway) at the last NRGetic Romancer 🙂

That sounds amazing…everything else from Alek seems to be released or on the way, so hopefully we can dig up some info on this one pretty soon.
By the way, no prob at all about the long post – I’m really happy to see everyone leaving messages here, so if you’ve got some links/interesting stuff that I’ve missed out on, definitely don’t hold back 🙂
It’s quite unbelievable that releasing VoB took almost two years.. but, all I what i can say is: Finally!

I updated that list – there’s now preview clips of most of the tunes.
