2012’s M3 isn’t far away, and Le Dos-on will be there with copies of his first full album. This cross-fade demo has been online for a while now, a really excellent sequence of snippets from each tune. I actually played a couple of these tracks at 10 Years of FINRG (where both went down very well indeed), but there’s plenty of brand-new material here too. The last few tunes I’ve heard have really stepped up a level in terms of quality, and he’s doing a brilliant job of forging his own sound from the obvious FINRG/Betwixt/Alabaster influences.
After M3 the download version of the album will be going on sale next month, so no matter where you are it’ll soon be possible to grab these tunes and support one of the most exciting new guys in the scene.

Seriously, this is truly good stuff. Some tracks sure have familiar influences. I totally agree with Plasma. It’s totally influenced by FINRG (Alek, PoC, …) and B&B + Alabaster.
I’m currently listening to track 03 “Material” and I was like “WTF Iron Squid!?” until the lead popped in. 😀
Le Dos-on’s tracks improved massively in such a short time gap. The tracks are already very solid. They can’t match with the atmosphere, which Alek’s, Aryx’s and B&B’s tracks deliver, but technically, they sure sound well-crafted.
This guy does a pretty good job, with mixing finish and japanese freeform. The result is astonishing.
This is such an excellent release. Listening to this sure gives me goosebumps. I’m thrilled. Very good stuff~!
Yeah, the intro of Material is most likely inspired by famous Iron Squid, I guess.
Well my favorites so far are the Intro track, Toivomus and the new version of Stance Another Story (the old/Soundcloud version of Stance AS was already my favorite Le Dos-on track actually).
Energy is a pretty good mixture of Japanese and FINRG inspired Freeform sounds.
My favorite is Sena (Original Mix). Seriously, this track so much kicks ass.
I’d guess, that Sena was influenced by earlier Alek Szahala style.
The raw- and formlessness of Sena totally hits my taste. Le Dos-on has to make more tracks of this caliber.
For some reason I was left unimpressed back when I heard the cross-fade.
However, after having a go at the full album, I can safely say I wasn’t paying enough attention. It’s a very good artist album, one that was needed I think. The scene’s looks pretty good at the moment with all these quality releases.
What really strikes me is that Le Dos-on is pretty much a newcomer. I speak for myself, of course, but 2 years ago I wouldn’t know who this guy was. He’s bound to follow Aryx’s footsteps and reach the top in a small ammount of time. At least if he keeps this pace.
Anyway, there wasn’t any track I didn’t like. Intro, toivomus and Sena were probably my favs. Very good tracks.
For non japan resident,
DL version it is a sale now.
