      Hey people!

Any activity here still? What’s in store for freeform in 2021 I wonder. Any news? 🙂

Anyway, I hope you’re all well and looking forward to a new exiting year.

There are a couple of things I have been wanting to find out for a while and thought someone here might know.

      1. Does anyone know if DJ X (Lab4) is still active on any social media? I wanted to ask about the Reload album and if it’s possible to get ahold of somewhere. It’s been on my want list on discogs for some time. According to the site the last sold copy was in 2015 though so doesn’t seem to be many copies around. V for Vengenace is such a beast of a track!

      2. Whatever happened to the Android Lime remix of Sunray? I thought it was meant to be released officially. Was it ever made available to the public? So many great tracks that has been lost through the years never getting released. 🙁

Hey man. Everything is good here. Things are indeed slow. When I get rich I’ll try to pump money into the scene and get artist albums out. :p

I can’t really help you about any of the questions. I remember that Sunray remix, but I just looked my old hard drive up and I only have it mixed. I can upload the mix if you’re interested.

You can contact Les(DJ X) on facebook usually. https://www.facebook.com/les.elston
The android lime remix was never really completed and Android Lime has long since quit music so don’t think anything will ever come of it. I remember talking to him about it ages ago. I’ve largely quit music and moved on from it these days, but I’ve debated doing a freeform promo mix some time…perhaps this is the year for it.

            Hey, Labraska!

I’m still just as fanatically locked-in to this kind of music as I was when the compilation album released, but haven’t been able to get into the recent interpretations of it due to production quirks I don’t know quite well enough to point out. Best solution seems to be circlejerking the stuff we know works with our eyes still on the horizon, so consider me here whenever this place is active! Much as I don’t want to cut this message at zero substance it would be worse to make empty promises in case the stuff I’m working on doesn’t test well in the outside world. Don’t know anything about Lab-4’s current status other than DJ-X’s FB and the recent remixes…

I’m open to getting anyone’s email who’s still stopping by here for whatever reason. 🙂
