I saw this vid on You-Tube a while ago of listening to NRG Monogatiri and going on a big BTW mission. Dust to Dust is my BTW tune anyways, but the way its mixed in on this vid is insane…

Sounds like a plan! NRGetic Romancer is at a bigger venue, but the atmosphere’s pretty similar 🙂

One of my favourites too 🙂 Quite short and hard to mix though…

I know! i found a really low quality rip (like 96kbps) because i loved the tune so much. Hense the kudos for the mix. I neeeeeed a decent quality version! Need to find the release!

In case you haven’t found it yet, Dust to Dust is on the Fanatic Hardcore (Red Label) compilation…I saw your comment on FB earlier though, hope the price wasn’t for this one!

  5. Plasmadancer> Yes yes it was :'(

Its an Alice’s Emotion CD… Man i love that tune, but i really really can’t afford £35+P&P for one tune… I’ve heard some of Alice’s Emotion stuff before, and the stuff i’ve heard – Is cheesy to say the least.

  6. Well, it’s a bit cheesy and a tad too much Touhou-inspired, but lately I’ve started to listen a bit more of J-core, with increased attention. I can name you a few of the tracks I like:

-Dj Technetium – Maid in Japan
-Dj Technetium – Tc-ma_009 ( its melody was stuck in my head for *so* long )
    -umbrella – Olive
    -kenta-v.ez.’s remix of 7701
-Some of USAO’s tracks ( e.g. artificial color ), even though they tend to get a bit monotonous.
-Hell, even t+pazolite’s “To luv me I *** for u” gets me pumped up.

I think there’s nothing wrong in listening to a more uplifting track once in a while and sometimes it’s really what you need for your mood. Alek Szahala’s Nabasso still has my favorite uplifting melody of all freaking time, just so you know.

In the end, all I care is for good music and I’m sure not all styles appeal to everyone, but I thought I’d say this, since I used to loath all the cheesyness in Happy Hardcore. I still do, but somehow these japanese producers don’t sound dull at all. :p
