The latest in the Crush on Hardcore series has been in the works for a while, and now there’s just a month or two more until release. This time the DJs are Cube::Hard, Shanty and a final FINRG set from JNKS/Swoosh and Rx/Carbon Based. The other big news is that there will be a physical version released in small numbers too (for free), as well as a follow-up CD of full tracks called Sequel of the V…also for free.
Inside this post is the promotional text from the COH crew, including the full tracklists. Watch out for some nice new tunes from FINRG in the final set…
After months of keeping our mouths shut, we are happy to reveal that the previously-reported upcoming album entitled as TATWCV is the fifth installment in the Crush On Hardcore free-to-download album series. In the last 3 years, Crush On Hardcore received critical acclaim for their different approach of thinking. Previous editions gave the DJs a platform to showcase not only their work, but also from a wide range of both established and up-and-coming artists.
The Album That Was Called V is more creative then the name suggests, it balances musical art and creative strategies above a catch-net filled with a pleasant variety of music styles.
Crush On Hardcore: The Album That Was Called V will be officially available as a free download on March 1st, 2010.

Not long to go now..
Ahhh, so this is what Tom (Cube::Hard) Was talking about the other day. He’d said he was doing a Hardcore Breakbeat CD, which i thought was a little odd seeing as he doesn’t do Hardcore/Freeform anymore. Will be sure to check this badboy out though! Looks awesome.
Keep your ears out for the DJ RX, Big Mistake and Drumhead Remix of Adam’s (Firefarm / Ephexis) – Volatile. What a tune! I mean the original is great, but just wait til you hear this version. Its ASTOUNDING…
Also, why the Synthwulf remix of My Serenity? The JNKS remix is superior, and its on Hybridize.

The production on Volatile is pretty incredible, but have to say I prefer the next tune, Fleshfest. Both have got some amazing sounds, though 🙂
About My Serenity, I guess Rx and CB were always going to go for the promo version when there’s a choice..
Yeah i guess….
Theres quite a few tunes in the lot that i’m unfamiliar with.
The first time i heard the RX remix of Volatile. Couldn’t stop listening to it. Its fucking amazing!
Also, where and when can i get one of those promo CD’s? I need a copy of both!!!!!
This looks very promising. They have outdone themselves with this!
And, yeah, would definitely love to have this at hands. D:
